I copped the Reproduction of Found British Army Trainer from Front General Store and they’re beautiful, but the fit isn’t right for me. They’re a perfect fit, but the heel is so low I can’t lock in. If i can resell these, i might try tarvas. Wish i could find a NY stockist with the easy hiker. Everyone has the other models
The heel cup area isn’t very high and can’t get a very secure fit unless the laces are choked. The shoe fits great otherwise.
I’ve got narrow feet, so been wearing Salomons or beefy boat shoes almost exclusively. Might get my foot remeasured, been having issues finding a good fit in oxfords as well. Might give the San Antonio Shoemakers Ambassador a go
just here to say the Vans Authentic Ease is a great shoe and i'm equally surprised at how polarizing they are. i copped a pair in both black and white and love the way they look, not to mention how comfortable they are. i think the black is the superior colorway, but the white is a great alternative for the summer if you want something just a little different than the classic canvas version.

You should look into the heel inserts. They come in all sorts of sizes and might make the difference you need for a more natural feeling fit
Appreciate that, but doesn’t do the trick. Yeah, as a former runner, I’ve tried everything. My dogs are just jacked. Might even look into custom
Maybe remeasuring your foot is the move… what if you’ve been playing with the wrong size all these years haha
