Being chronically tapped into the game has taught me that May is sort of a quiet month when it comes to new releases — Paris Fashion Week is just around the corner and I find that brands are keeping the hot items under wraps until the big week. No stress though as there’s still a lot of good stuff to go through in today’s Top 10. I’ll also be going down to Paris to cover content and share some exclusives with you, so stay tuned for that!

10. GUESS USA CRACKED LEATHER SHORTS
Leather in the summer might be a wild idea, but not all days are that insanely hot, and for a cooler evening these are going to be so good. Still available on the GUESS USA website with additional colorways.
9. KAPITAL 7G CROCHET KNIT
Crochet knits are still the talk of the town this summer, and you already know these ones from Kapital are going to be on a whole other level.
Ok, I won’t lie but I originally slept on this collab, but this one was a hit! Even though I’m pretty low-key when it comes to logos, I do love a good logo flip in collaborations, and the way Carnan flipped the Asics logo on this one was just really well done.
5. A KIND OF GUISE SIENNA SANDAL
Grandpa swag is in full swing this summer. Grab your bbq, put these on and it’s a wrap. A Kind of Guise has been making some amazing summer gear this season, so there’s absolutely no surprise that they knocked this one out of the park. Still available in lots of sizes on their site here.
4. THE NORTH FACE TOWNT II
The North Face Japan continues to make us North Americans jealous with all of these hot releases we can’t get our hands on. The Townt II is TNF’s continuation of their footwear development program and it’s looking nice. Really hoping they will expand their footwear program overseas soon.
3. DINGYUN ZHANG + ADIDAS SAMBA
Might be the only Samba I would actually wear — I’m a sucker for an all black pair. and that patent leather upper is just too good to ignore. Simple. straight to the point makes this a perfect everyday shoe.
2. UMBRO KOREA LONGSLEEVE
Umbro is still killing the game… this is like the 3rd or 4th month in a row Umbro has made the Top 10 and it’s looking like they aren’t going to be stopping anytime soon. Very interesting how much the people really love everything coming out of Umbro right now.
1. VANS CUSTOM BY MASTERYATELIER
Might be the first time a custom has made it to the number one spot in the Top 10 round up! These classic Vans got a custom leather makeover thanks to Japan-based designer, Masteryatelier. The removable flap is a nice little touch that takes a familiar model and gives it new life. I really enjoyed it and it seemed that the people did as well.
