A few months ago I had the pleasure of connecting with the fellas over at Paratodo for a recent pop-up in New York for their Spring collection! I’ve already been a fan of their work as I’ve got the chance to experience a variety of their pieces in person, and I have nothing but great things to say—the Philadelphia based brand focuses on creating great quality garments that are priced extremely well in my opinion. On top of all that, they also give back to the community by donating 25% of their profits to various humanitarian causes—what is not to love?
During the spring pop-up at Colbo, Paratodo also teased a bunch of items for their upcoming Summer collection and there were a lot of garments I knew I had to write about—the fellas behind the brand don’t even know I’m doing this newsletter because all that was discussed was a potential giveaway to the SNLetter readers, that’s it. The upcoming collection is really good though, so I figured why not spread the knowledge with a dedicated drop write-up?

PARATODO SUMMER ‘23!
This season Paratodo focused on nature through high-fidelity fabrics like Japanese nylon ripstop with 3M weave in natural colors, intricately designed embroidered fabrics, a cheetah print embossed cotton blend fabric that is one of my favorite details of this collection, and the return of some classic graphics that many Paratodo obsessed wearers should recognize.
The collection comprises of some breeze-ready button ups that are laced/perforated that will leave you feeling cool and breezy in the scorching heat. Fit is true to size, with lots of room for all of my folks who are trying to get a flowy fit going. Alongside those, we have some shorts that will be an absolute must-cop for the summer. Coming in hot with two different colors, the shorts are entirely ripstop that will be perfect for those beach chillin’ days. Three nicely sized pockets to ensure maximum carrying levels for all the items you may possibly need.
To round it up, Paratodo has also brought back a few classic designs from past seasons to use on a variety of tees for this drop. I don’t know about you, but I’m picky when it comes to the neckline on a tee shirt—I need it to be tight!! I’m happy to say that if you’re the same then you’ve come to the right place. Their tee’s got a great neckline that doesn’t stretch in a way that some tees do after only a few wears, and with the nice weight to them, these are going to be great as an everyday tee!
Now these next set of pocket tees are the showstopper for me personally. I don’t usually go for all-over pattern stuff anymore, but when I saw the Leopard Comoda Tee in person I knew I had to have both of them. The level of detail in the embossed design of the cheetah print will have your peers taking a second glance at your fit in no time—rock this by itself or pair it with a button up of some sort to create a unique level of depth within your outfit. Really interesting piece that really grabbed my attention in a way that a tee hasn’t in a while, so I’m really excited to pull some fits off in them!
Overall, a great collection all around that will be really fun to pair with your existing wardrobe. What I really enjoy is how the items play with each other. You can pull off some good fits if you were to pair multiple pieces from this collection in one outfit!
Paratodo Summer ‘23 will be live on their site on May 26th at 11 am ET. 25% of all profits will be donated to 12+, an organization that helps provide post-secondary guidance for students after high school (I.e. college counselling, scholarships, enrollment in trade schools and other alternatives)!
