Read about the fall footwear I’m excited about right now here.
We interrupt our Japan Month content with some weekly releases aimed at your wallet.
In today’s letter we’re taking a look at reimagined Levi’s silhouettes using rare fabrics from Wakayama Japan, an upcoming Timberland collaboration you don’t want to miss, new quarter zip sweatshirts, great menswear from an independent label from New York, and more great recommendations.
LEVI’S + BEAMS + LOOPWHEELER
We got another banging collab to continue the BEAMS 50th anniversary celebration. This time, BEAMS and Levi’s come together alongside Japan-based Loopwheeler to reimagine classic Levi’s styles using Loopwheeler’s rare TSURIAMIKI fabric to create a soft sweatshirt textile produced on ultra-rare hanging-loop knitting machines in Wakayama, Japan.
The full collection will be available on October 17th at select BEAMS stores in Japan, October 22nd on the Levi’s website, and October 23rd on the BEAMS America website.
TIMBERLAND + VICTOR KAN
It’s a good time to start shopping for some boots, because it’s better to be early than late. I personally always find myself shopping for boots at the last minute when the weather has already reached the nasty levels, and by then I’m dealin with scraps of low stock.
The Euro Hiker gets a new look in collaboration with Victor Kan. Complete GORE-TEX upper, these will be available in sizes from 6-14, and will be launching via Third of June on October 17th, followed by a global release on the Timberland website on October 19th.
Sidenote: I’m kinda feeling these camo Field Boots that are available on the Timberland website.
